For this one we used toys, but they couldn’t be hinged. Like they had to be toys that wouldn’t animate well. I went to all 3 of the second hand stores around but NONE of them had toys. Probably cause after they were literally swimming in them at some point and the Head General at the Salvation Army put his foot down. I don’t blame him, who buys used toys?
